UAW Orientations
All first-time Academic Student Employees (Teaching Assistants, Tutors, Readers, Graders, Instructional Assistants, GSRs, Fellows, and Trainees) are required to attend a 30-minute Employee Orientation with representatives from UAW 4811, the union of ASEs at UC. At this orientation, union leaders will familiarize you with your rights, protections, and benefits under the UC-UAW 4811 Collective Bargaining Agreements.
