Training Resources
In OATS, entering activities & reporting effort (time) are separate operations from submitting your annual certification. Faculty can enter and report effort on Category I (with prior approval) or Category II outside activities throughout a fiscal year. At the end of that year, faculty must complete and submit an annual certification to "close out" their APM 025 reporting. That annual certification will contain any activities and effort already entered in OATS. Faculty may also add information prior to annually certifying for the year.
Annual certification for a given year becomes available after that year ends. For example, 2021-22 annual certification was enabled during the first week of July 2022.
